Orbis Presents at NEXT Summit Singapore

Orbis had the privilege of being invited to present our immunity testing platform at the NEXT Summit Singapore, a global platform for cooperation of international business across the Asia Pacific in its fifth year running.

In previous years, the Summit has been hosted by Dubai and New Zealand and included high profile keynote speakers such as current and former UN Secretary-Generals Antonio Guterres and Ban Ki-moon. This year the Summit was hosted in Singapore, broadcasted to over 50 media channels, and streamed online with over 1 million live viewers.

Our COO Evan Erstich introduced the audience, including high-level government and business leaders in China and Southeast Asia, to the critical role of immunity testing in managing COVID-19.

Immunity testing is a ‘new and significant addition to a risk-based framework approach that uses a toolbox of testing solutions’ alongside vaccination efforts, he said.

Mr. Erstich then shared the progress Orbis has made in commercializing its automated immunity testing platform, the Orbis Arca, specifically designed for the accurate and rapid measurement of an individual's immunity to COVID-19.

‘Used alongside other risk-driven testing strategies, this technology is a robust and practical solution to manage risk as travel volumes increase’.

Internationally award-winning scientist and Scientific Co-Founder Professor David Williams provided a final comment on the importance of quantitative immunity testing and gave the audience a look at the Orbis Arca prototype in action.

It was an honour to be given the opportunity to take part in the NEXT Summit. Orbis’ presentation can be watched above at the 2:26:00 mark.
